I treated myself to a sweet desert hike for breakfast one early spring morning. The Yaqui Pass south of the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park provided me a delicious buffet of color and contrasts with flavors to make my visual palate water. Rain had reawakened this desolate landscape allowing me to enjoy it all sunny side up!
