The most valuable real estate in this environment can be found in the sticks. Walking the desert garden of the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park’s Visitor Center I found the floral population flourished under the shaded canopy of dried branches while embracing the protection of thorny cacti. Diverse fauna grows and blossoms in these locations, locations, locations.
