A subplot to my rainy day visit to capture the rolling landscapes and gnarled oak of this magnificent valley wrote itself into my photo story. Extreme close ups of raindrops and rays of light adorning leaves and flowers would not be denied. Shifting lights through rain clouds altered perspectives of poppies along a pathway. A golden shaft of light illuminated a lone bristle. Silvery orbs of rain rested on flower petals and grass.
