Over the years, our neighborhood would be visited by a gaze of raccoons. They were more often heard, rather than seen and would scurry off in the shadows cast by streetlights when we would go out to investigate. Then there was this lone raccoon that for several nights came up to our sliding glass door and would watch us in our family room (our human replica natural habitat I guess). When I got my camera, it seemed to pose for me, or was expecting to get fed.
