My next door neighbor texted us one night telling us “you have massive spiders in your yard.” My reaction: Let me get my camera. There were three. Two had woven their beautifully intricate webs from my strawberry tree over my garden while the other still spinning its masterpiece from the neighbor’s house to the tree. My neighbor and I experimented with a flashlight and long exposures attempting to illuminate these invisible traps. The results won’t make the cover of the National Geographic but it did create some fun images.
