’17 Gold Rush to Super Bloom
When you are an amateur photographer snapping away in Yosemite Valley, it is inevitable to want to see this National through the lens of Ansel Adams. Most of Adam’s iconic Yosemite photographs were shot black and white. It amazed me how the beauty of the Valley still resonated without sans color. Half Dome, in particular, conveyed a more completing almost menacing presences when I focused on the contrasts instead of the hues.
